Ever wondered if you might qualify for Mensa? San Francisco Regional Mensa is offering an opportunity to find out during Brilliance by the Bay, its 2026 Regional Gathering in Burlingame, California.

Sponsored by the Mensa Foundation, the gathering takes place November 20–22 at the Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront. A Mensa Admission Test will be offered on Saturday, November 21 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., with participants invited to enjoy Saturday’s gathering activities afterward.

What Is Mensa?

Mensa is an international organization for people who score in the top 2% of the general population on an accepted standardized intelligence test. Beyond qualifying for membership, Mensa offers a community built around shared interests, conversation and intellectual curiosity.

Regional Gatherings bring Mensa members together for presentations, workshops and activities covering a wide range of interests. This year’s Brilliance by the Bay features programming on science and technology, arts and creativity, history and humanities, personal growth and more.

Admission test participants are welcome to attend Saturday’s gathering sessions and hospitality, offering an opportunity to experience the Mensa community firsthand. Lunch is not included.
