The Foundation welcomed two new members to the Board of Trustees earlier this year.
Eldon Romney is President of R & R Environmental, Inc.; his areas of expertise include industrial hygiene (asbestos, lead, mold and radon) and EPA/OSHA rules. He earned a bachelor's degree in health science from the University of Utah and is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the National Environmental Health Association.
Eldon is a longtime Mensa volunteer, serving at the local, regional and national levels; he was Provisional Ombudsman from 1988 to 1990 and National Ombudsman from 2000 to 2010. He received the Chairman’s Service Award for superior service to American Mensa in 2007 and 2010 and the Distinguished Service Award for outstanding service to American Mensa in 2011. Eldon lives in Utah with his wife, Lynda.
James Werdell has held numerous positions within Mensa on the local and international levels, including American Mensa Committee Treasurer and First Vice Chairman and Mensa International Chairman. James holds a bachelor's degree and a master's in business administration; his areas of expertise are information systems, communications, management and law enforcement. James is retired and lives in California.
