The Mensa Education & Research Foundation’s Board of Trustees in December added three new members to the now 12-person board: Keri Guilbault, Ed.D., of Metropolitan Washington Mensa; Jennifer Wise, of Mensa of Western Washington; and Vicki Herd, a member of Mensa Canada. Their terms are for a period of up to three years.
Guilbault is an assistant professor of gifted education at Johns Hopkins University. She joined Mensa in 1999 and has served as the National Gifted Youth Program Chair, local Scholarship Chair, and local Gifted Youth Coordinator.
Wise, a second-generation Mensa member, is a Seattle-based content writer and editor, and she holds a Master of Arts in literature from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has served as Scholarship Chair at the local and regional levels, Scholarship Volunteer Coordinator, Young Ms Coordinator, and GenY Coordinator.
Herd joined Mensa Canada in 1987 and has served in almost every role Mensa Calgary offers, including Local Secretary and Proctor. A chair of multiple Canadian Annual Gatherings, she also serves as chair of the Mensa Foundation’s International Scholarship Program.
