Eldon Romney was named to the Mensa Foundation board in 2012. He's a long-time Mensa volunteer, having served at the local, regional, and national levels for more than 35 years.
He was Provisional Ombudsman from 1988-90 and National Ombudsman from 2000-10. He received the Chairman’s Service Award for superior service to American Mensa in 2007 and 2010 and the Distinguished Service Award for outstanding service to American Mensa in 2011.
Professionally, Eldon is President of Air Quality Consulting, LLC., and his areas of expertise include industrial hygiene (asbestos, lead, mold and radon) and EPA/OSHA rules. He earned a bachelor's degree in health science from the University of Utah and is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the National Environmental Health Association.
He lives in Utah with his wife, Lynda.
