The Mensa Education & Research Foundation and Mensa members are proud of their history of providing scholarships to selected essay winners.
More than 11,400 students competed for 181 scholarship awards with a total value of $82,700. Volunteers with 98 Mensa Local Groups participated in the scholarship program, and each of their local winners will receive a Karen Cooper or Diana Mossip Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $300.
Winners came from 44 states including Hawaii and Alaska. The top states in number of winners were California, Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
