Gifted Youth

The Mensa Foundation has a strong commitment to supporting educational outreach and social stimulation for gifted young people everywhere. Specifically, the Foundation provides funding for the following programs:

Schoolgirl photoThe award-winning Mensa for Kids Web site features age-appropriate games and links for 6-10-year-olds, as well as study tips, resources for parents and teachers, a monthly feature and a regularly updated blog by site mascot Max the Fox.

Designed for Young Mensans ages 5-12, Kids Trek has provided several full days of age-appropriate activities at each Annual Gathering since 1997. The program is coordinated and run every year by Mensan volunteers.

As a national Special Interest Group of American Mensa, TeenSIG provides a forum for social and intellectual interaction among teen Mensans ages 13-19. Members interact online and in person at events such as the Annual Gathering.
