  DEARBORN RESIDENT HONORED WITH MENSA FOUNDATION’S DISTINGUISHED TEACHER AWARD
  Arlington, TX (7/07/10) – Dearborn, Mich., elementary and charter school teacher Heather Jenkins received the honor of the Mensa Education & Research Foundation’s Distinguished Teacher Award Saturday, June 3 at a special reception as part of the national organization’s Annual Gathering. The reception was held at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn. Ms. Jenkins teaches mathematics, social studies, language arts, and reading at Keystone Charter Academy in Belleville, Mich. She was nominated for the award by her fourth grade student, and Mensa member, Nicholas Eller.

  AMERICAN MENSA WILL BE A-GROOVIN' IN MOTOWN, CELEBRATING A 50TH ANNIVERSARY THAT’S SURE TO BE GOLDEN
  American Mensa will be A-Groovin’ in Motown to celebrate its 50th anniversary in North America at the 2010 Annual Convention. American Mensa and Mensa Canada will partner to bring this year’s convention, also known as the Annual Gathering (AG), to Motor City, June 30-July 5 at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn in Dearborn, Mich.
