Shape the Future.
Think Mensa Education & Research Foundation.

Your unrestricted donations will go to the general fund in support of a variety of Foundation programs, or you can choose to make your contribution to a specific award fund. Listed below are several of the awards currently available through the Foundation. If you wish to designate a fund, make your selection below. Donations to the Mensa Education & Research Foundation are deductible for income tax purposes.
 
General Donations
Gifted Youth $
Scholarships
The Mensa Education & Research Foundation college scholarship program bases its awards totally on essays written by the applicants. Consideration is not given to grades, academic program or financial need.

Unrestricted Use
Donations without a specific designated fund go into the general fund to be applied to the area of greatest need. At this time, most unrestricted donations are applied to the various scholarships.

Chicago Area Mensa Scholarship
Must be resident of, or attend school in, the geographical area of Chicago Area Mensa. Regional Scholarship.

Greater Phoenix Mensa Scholarship $
Joe Vitale Memorial Scholarship $
Minnesota Mensa Scholarship $
Northern Michigan Mensa Scholarship $
Orange County Mensa Scholarship
Must be resident of Orange County Mensa area. Regional scholarship.

Oregon Mensa Scholarship $
San Diego Mensa Scholarship $
 
Named Scholarships
Peter Booras Scholarship
For student studying or planning a career in education. National scholarship.

Susan Burton Memorial Scholarship $
Peggy Deane Scholarship
Must be resident of Greater New York Mensa area. Regional scholarship.
$
Harper Fowley-Isolated M Scholarship
Study for an undergraduate liberal arts degree. National scholarship.
$
Fruecht/McGrew Scholarship
Physics or chemistry major or someone returning or who has returned to school after an absence of 5 or more years. Regional scholarship.

Carol Gomez Memorial Scholarship
Must be resident of Delaware Valley Mensa area. Regional scholarship.

Haley Scholarship $
Chod Harris Memorial Scholarship
Must be resident of Redwood Empire Mensa area. Regional scholarship.

Grace Harrington Wilson Memorial Scholarship
For a female student with a focus in journalism. National scholarship.
$
Helen Kupper Scholarship
Study of music or music education. National scholarship.
$
Rita Levine Scholarship
For a female returning or has returned to school after any absence of seven or more years. National scholarship.
$
Lester London Scholarship
Must be enrolled as a graduate student in history. National scholarship.
$
Marjorie Mandelblatt Memorial Scholarship
Mensa member and editor of the Bulletin. National scholarship.

David Mann Memorial Scholarship
Study of aeronautical engineering or an aerospace field. National scholarship.

John Matthews Scholarship
Must be resident of Central Indiana Mensa area. Regional scholarship.

McGrew Scholarship $
Walt & Mary McGrew Scholarship $
Tom Pyter Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship created by friends of Tom Pyter who was a Mensa member from Michigan. Regional scholarship.

Jerry Salny Scholarship $
J.F. Schirmer Scholarship
National scholarship.
$
Margot Seitelman Memorial Scholarship
Graduate student who plans a career in professional writing or teaching English grammar and/or writing. National scholarship.

Judy Vasiliauskas Scholarship $
Joe Zanca Scholarship $
 
Other Programs
Award for Excellence in Research
Given internationally for outstanding research on intelligence, intellectual giftedness and related fields.

Copper Black Award
Given to a Mensan for a specific creative achievement that has been demonstrated to be of practical value, or for an innovation that has been implemented, at least in part, to the advantage of persons other than the nominee.
$
Lifetime Achievement Award
Presented every other year by the Research Review Committee in recognition of a lifetime of contributions to the field of intelligence and related subjects.

Mensa Press Award
Recognizes excellence in writing about human intelligence and giftedness in media designed for lay audiences.
$



Memorial Donations
Your memorial donation is a thoughtful, caring way to pay tribute to someone you love and respect while supporting the Mensa Foundation.

Walk of Minds
Commemorate an event or honor someone special. Buy a brick in the Walk of the Minds, and your name or the name of someone you wish to honor or memorialize will be placed in the sidewalk leading to the American Mensa building.

Each brick can display up to six (6) lines of text with each line totalling no more than twenty (20) characters (including spaces).
