Scholarships
The Mensa Education & Research Foundation college scholarship program bases its awards totally on essays written by the applicants. Consideration is not given to grades, academic program or financial need.

Unrestricted Use
Donations without a specific designated fund go into the general fund to be applied to the area of greatest need. At this time, most unrestricted donations are applied to the various scholarships.

Award for Excellence in Research
Given internationally for outstanding research on intelligence, intellectual giftedness and related fields.

Copper Black Award
Given to a Mensan for a specific creative achievement that has been demonstrated to be of practical value, or for an innovation that has been implemented, at least in part, to the advantage of persons other than the nominee.

Lifetime Achievement Award
Presented every other year by the Research Review Committee in recognition of a lifetime of contributions to the field of intelligence and related subjects.

Mensa Press Award
Recognizes excellence in writing about human intelligence and giftedness in media designed for lay audiences.

Your memorial donation is a thoughtful, caring way to pay tribute to
someone you love and respect while supporting the Mensa Foundation.
If you so choose, we will send acknowledgement of your gift to the

Walk of Minds
Commemorate an event or honor someone special.
Buy a brick in the Walk of the Minds, and your
name or the name of someone you wish to honor
or memorialize will be placed in the sidewalk
leading to the American Mensa building.
Each brick can display up to six (6) lines of text with each line
totalling no more than twenty (20) characters (including spaces).
